We recently brought home our sweet boy Rocky from Holly, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. We had the opportunity to meet him at 5 weeks old, which gave us the chance to start bonding early, and we could see right away how much love and care goes into all of Holly’s dogs. She even asked us if we had chosen a name, and once we told her, she started calling him by it, that small but thoughtful touch meant so much to us. When it was time for pick up, everything was seamless. Rocky had already had his first checkup, vaccinations, and was microchipped. Holly also sent us home with a starter pack that included a blanket with his mother’s scent, a few days of his food to make the transition smooth, toys, and even poop bags, she truly thought of everything. I don’t have a lot of experience with breeders, but I knew as soon as I walked in the door that these weenies were more loved than most children. I am a neat freak and I couldn’t even tell there were so many little family members. Finnigan walked into my coat and into our lives forever. This never would have happened to me at any other moment. Holly and Steve opened their home to my sister, (who actually ordered her weenie in November), my mom and I and we were absolutely blown away at the love these dogs are born into. Holly feeds raw, which got my attention right away. They are all healthy and extremely well socialized. They are definitely a part of their family until they go to their forever homes. We picked up our weenies on March 26 and are more than thrilled with our new additions, they are very well behaved already and sleep right through the night. Their socialization before we picked them up is very evident in their gentle behaviour. Holly and Steve have no issues getting right in with the weenies on the floor and playing with them. My sister has Ellie and I have Finnigan and they are miniature dapples. Eenie Weenies has changed our home life. My husband and I have had 3 Dachshunds and two Cairn Terriers spanning 40 years. I contacted Holly in August of 2024 looking for a little mini Dachshund. I was put on a waiting list, then in January I was told that a litter will be coming mid January 2025. Well we were so excited that a little fur baby would be here soon. On January 20 I received the phone call that the litter was born and that there was a little female for us. We are both retired and we have one Cairn Terrier 11 yr old Ruby. I have to say that Holly and Steve are people that absolutely love their dogs. Holly and I stayed in touch throughout the waiting period and I can say that any questions I may have had were always answered. At the 5 week mark we went to see the pups and my sister who hasn’t had a dog fell in love with a little male in the litter. She said that she has never felt so attached to a little dog. Well the stars were aligned for her because the person who was getting this little fella couldn’t take him (Finnigen) My sister now has this little bundle, I have not seen her this happy and content in a long time. Our little troop (Ellie & Ruby) have settled very quickly and now our home is complete. We would recommend Eenie Weenies to anyone who loves the mini dachshund. The pups are so well socialized and are very happy little fur babies.
