We met the pups at 5 weeks and it was a time we could easily talk and share our visions. Holly and Steve were lovely and the dogs were very friendly and affectionate. They keep all their dogs in their home, which shows in their comfort with people. I’ve had Ellie for about two months now and she brings so much joy into my life. I was raised with Dachshund’s since the age of three, so I’m very familiar with the breed. I raised four children, with four dachshunds and it was wonderful for all. Ellie is the seventh one and definitely the smartest, most energetic one of all! She kept us informed about the waitlist, and to our surprise, we welcomed our puppy home much sooner than expected! We had an amazing experience getting our little guy, Ollo, from Holly. As first-time puppy owners, we had a lot of questions, and Holly guided us through the entire process with patience and care. No matter what we asked, she was always happy to help and made us feel confident every step of the way. Holly is amazing. When I started looking for a puppy I wanted a breeder who kept their dogs in their home; all Holly’s dogs are loved and happy, in her beautiful house. She is really knowledgeable about the breed and truly cares about finding the right families to place her puppies with. She sent me regular pictures, I did a meet and greet a few weeks before the pups were ready to go, and she set me up with some raw food and pet insurance to get started. Life made us put a hold on getting a puppy and Holly was nothing but supportive throughout the whole process. Never made us feel pressured and remained so patient. But finally the day came and we were able to welcome Louie into our family. Holly was always quick to reply to any questions along the way and ensured we were ready to bring our lil bean home. From insurance, to toys, to blankets that smelled like momma and a starter kit of food to help transition.
